Beijing - St. Xavier Cathedral

Being a part of this whole drama of a complete family thing, we had to go to a church. And the St. Xavier (Southern) Church is definitely the answer.

I am not a religious person. But somehow I am enchanted by places of worship when taking photos.

I can feel the peace and security that devotees attain when contained in such places.

And don't forget hope - the waiting... and eventually getting what you pray for

This is the statue of Fr Ricci. He is the one responsible for spreading Christianity in Beijing according to Tita Lileth. He's very famous in Macau as well.

It could not get any better than ending the day with sumptuous dinner with the family. This time Jiawei's younger brother came over. Sorry if we looked too harassed. We were really harassed by too much sightseeing. Hehe!
