heritage photo shoot

one more thing i love about my b? he's also into photography! how nice would it be doing the thing you love with the person you love and you know that he also loves it? haha, that's three 'love' in a sentence!

we're thinking of joining this photo contest on hk's heritage sites. there were about 490 sites to choose from and we were only able to get to five. and it's only wan chai area! we only had two hours because we woke up late and he had to go to his sunday lesson. and the weather isn't very cooperative - it's freaking raining! we brought our tattered map and the list of the sites. it was quite disappointing seeing the sites because they were just torn down structures.

but you know what? it'll have to be one of our best times. never mind that we don't go to posh restaurants or that we don't give each other expensive gifts. i'd still prefer having somebody walk with me, hold my hand, look me in the eyes, kiss me, tell me he loves me and genuinely mean it. may ka-PDA na ko! haha!

if we weren't pda-ing, here are the photos that we took. they're so bad we never mentioned joining the contest again. hehe.





when he went to his class in sha tin, i was able to go by myself to the ten thousand buddha shrine and explore the place. i didn't know that it's a burial place. i don't know how they call it but it's a temple where dead people's ashes are placed after cremation. it's so creepy seeing all of the dead people's pictures. out of respect for their family, i didn't take much photos, and they're mostly outside.



then i was off to the shatin central plaza. here's my favourite spot in this new territory area - snoopy's world! giant snoopy figures! woot woot!


with plenty of time waiting for b, i was able to see this cultural presentation in the shatin town hall. some performances are ok, but i think they can still do better.


no doubt about the amazement on their colourful costumes. maybe i dont know that they're supposed to dance that way. or maybe i just got used to the performances in UP.






after a tiring day, we went to see our friends for dinner.

then it was downhill after that. our first fight. keywords: cigarettes and alcohol. it was messy and draining. but it was resolved sooner than i thought. now he promised to give up nicotine and refrain from alcohol, at least when he's with me. so you see, he's not perfect. but he tries to be. for me. sweet.
